		<description>No Becky, these bursts are far outside of visible light. The waves are 2 orders of magnitude smaller than even x rays. Keep in mind that we humans can only see a tiny fraction of the light n the universe. Other electromagnetic waves are just as much light as the reds and blues we can see, but our eyes did not evolve to see them.

		<description>I am just interested in the Gamma Ray burst of 29.10 - was it visible to the human eye . I live in Estern Germany and I saw an unusal reddish/ orange light in the sky last night that faded and reappeared  could it have been the star burst ?</description>
