I usually don’t link to magazines, but this cartoon by Tom Tomorrow in Salon is pretty much how most scientists see things now. You can’t blame them either. Thanks to Joe Romm at Climate Progress or the heads up on this.

“What we do as a people about climate change is a political question. The reality of the problem is a scientific one. I will stick with science here and steer away from the politics.”
I read your “Who I Am” section on your blog and it doesn’t seem that you have steered from politics in this particular post sir but directly into it. I didn’t write this because I’m mad, just to keep you accountable so you could know what you post is being scrutinized, peer reviewed if you will. It’s also noticeable in your choice of links you choose to use in your other posts as well, if you want to win the minds of people you call ignorant, you may have to win their hearts as well by using more polite sources that don’t mock them (i.e. the NYT article was less than diplomatic to opposing ideas)
